Site Details
How do I get there?
Bankfoot is a village 8 miles north of Perth which is just off the A9 and the exit is marked “Bankfoot B867”.
Bus:
Bus services 23 and 34 connect to Bankfoot from the Mill Street bus stop in Perth, which is a short walk from both the bus and train stations.
The busses will let you off on Main Street in Bankfoot and it is a 15-minute walk to the site from there.
Access:
There are two entrances to the building. For most of the convention we will be using the “Hub” entrance, which is pictured below and is the entrance facing you as you drive in. If you are entering the site on foot, our entrance is on the left side of the building as you face the main entrance.
Facilities:
The site itself has toilets and showers for all convention attendees. We will also be providing simple kitchen facilities of a kettle and microwave. There will be no access to cutlery or plates/bowls so please bring your own.
There will be a designated space for using camping stoves, but BBQs and open fires are not permitted on site at all.
There is a small Nisa Local shop a 15-minute walk from site on Main Street.
For bigger shops and supermarkets, the nearest ones are just on the north edge of Perth. Both Tesco and Asda are accessible with an Aldi at the Inveralmond Roundabout retail park next to the big Tiso.
Takeaway:
The Bankfoot Inn is just on main street next to the shop and does chippy style takeaway or classic pub food to sit in.
There are also several restaurants in the area that deliver to Bankfoot using services like Just Eat, at the time of writing there were a couple of Indian places, a few fish and chip shops and a German shawarma house.
