The SJC is a voulenteer ran convention, we operating using a community interest company (CIC) to allow us to secure insurance and property rent.
The SJC CIC is a non-profit organisation, any funds taken will be used to run future conventions, expand what the convention offers, or pay the performers a fair wage for the show.
Ticket prices are always set to roughly what it costs to run the convention and grow our small fund of money a little, this is to allow us to survive any disasters in future years.
For 2026 the true cost of running the convention will come out around £55 per person for a full convention ticket. This covers insurance, site rental, camping, performers pay, and sundries. None of the organisers take payment for running the convention, in fact we buy a ticket too.
Should we ever find ourselves in a situation where we have surplus funds from successful growth of the convention, the CIC has set its intentions to use excess income to fund community circus events, in Scotland, to raise awareness and inclusion for the circus arts and all the positive benefits they bring. At no point will personal profit be claimed from the CIC funds.
We are actively seeking funding through different sources, should any of these be successful we will use the funds to reduce the price of tickets and prevent the ticket price being a barrier for inclusion.
If you find that the only barrier for you attending the convention is the cost of the tickets, please reach out to the organising team at scottishjugglers@gmail.com and we will work with you to find a solution.
For 2026 the following ticket prices apply:
Full Convention:
Supporter: £55, the true cost per person to run the event
Standard: £40
Funded: £25
Day Tickets:
Supporter: £25
Standard: £20
Funded: £15
Show Only Tickets:

The Hero Donation option allows you to voluntarily pay a higher price for your ticket (in £5 increments) by adding 1 or more of these to your order. They are not a valid form of ticket and convey no material benefits. As well as supporting the running of the SJC, we use this revenue to subsidise ticket costs for individuals who otherwise can't afford to attend.
